Le Chat Courant Guesthouse is located just opposite to the Château of Villandry, at the entrance to the Regional Nature Reserve Loire Anjou Touraine... A renowned area for its historic castles and its gentle way of life, the Loire Valley is a UNESCO World Heritage site... Throughout your restful stay, whatever activity you look for, touring the valley or just leisure, Anne and Eric Gaudouin will share with you their great passion for this region and the gardens.
Le Chat Courant is an elegant regional house dating back to the 19th century, nestled among the green trees, in the very heart of the châteaux of the Loire. A small and picturesque road goes along the Cher and accompanies it peacefully towards its confluence with the Loire. This same quiet road will lead you to Le Chat Courant... From our guesthouse, you can hear the land talking to you: it tells you about this little and romantic part of France, located in the Regional Nature Reserve Loire Anjou Touraine, recently registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site... We also have many animals in our family: horses, dogs, cats...
For your relaxation and leisure activities you can enjoy: a large private swimming pool; a spacious garden surrounded by meadows, with a small formal kitchen garden. You will find here a variety of flowers among which the famous ancient rose of Pierre de Ronsard; a lovely shaded terrace; bicycle rentals; ping-pong; pétanque games; a library with a rich tourist information to organize your outings and other activities.
